Everton defender Jarrad Branthwaite is now set to leave Goodison Park on loan, according to Ryan Taylor.
The Express reporter reported that the young enforcer was left at home as the Toffees depart for their pre-season tour of the United States of America.
PSV are very interested, with Marcel Brands able to step in as director of football after leaving Merseyside himself several months ago.

“Jarrad Branthwaite is set to leave Everton on loan,” he wrote.
“The defender has not traveled with the rest of the squad for the pre-season tour of the United States. Strong interest from various Championship clubs and PSV, where Marcel Brands now operates as Director of Football.

The former Burnley man arriving means Frank Lampard has essentially pushed Branthwaite one place further out of the first-team starting XI every week.

Playing football regularly every week will be good for his confidence, and this is something that will have been taken care of for many of these young players.
